Policy Analysis & Regulatory Compliance

PBA’s experts are skilled at analyzing current and proposed federal, state and local regulations, as well as, legislation to assess the impact on the client’s operations, evaluate the client’s options and develop recommendations for client action. PBA has served as pro-active and effective advocate for its clients’ interests over a wide range of issues. In addition, PBA has actively participated in a number of national coalitions and task forces to help steer federal, state and local policy in the direction that provides our small clients with the same opportunities and safeguards larger industry players enjoy.

PBA can analyze state, local and federal notices, proposed rulemakings, and orders to determine the impact on the client and develop comments and replies supporting the client’s position; participate in ex parte meetings with regulators; assist trade associations on common strategies and positions; plan and assist clients in complying with regulatory rules and regulations. PBA has also prepared waivers and petitions for reconsideration of federal, state and local regulatory rules and developed the necessary economic and technical data to support them.
