Ms. Viola works for Parish, Blessing and Associates, an economic consulting firm. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wellesley College. Since 1997, Ms. Viola has built and reviewed numerous analytical models for clients in the telecommunications, railroad, aerospace, electronics, home construction, and plastics industries.

Since joining Parrish, Blessing and Associates in January 2007, Ms. Viola has worked on numerous telecommunications and railroad proceedings.  In her telecommunications work, she has assisted in the development and review of models used to determine the cost of building a hypothetical telecommunications network.  She has also built models that calculate the cost of broadband service to telecommunications subscribers in insular areas which were submitted to the Federal Communications Commission.  In addition to her model work, Ms. Viola has built maps illustrating customer locations and network technologies in rural areas.

Prior to joining Parish, Blessing and Associations, Ms. Viola worked for FTI Consulting for six years. While with FTI, Ms. Viola provided economic analyses in support of expert testimony within regulatory proceedings and litigation matters for the telecommunications and transportation industries. She testified to the cost of operating a new stand-alone railroad in rate cases before the Surface Transportation Board. She has also designed and constructed models to capture the cost of operating, building and maintaining a new railroad as part of stand-alone rate cases before the Board.

Before joining FTI, Ms. Viola spent one year at Midway Amusement Games. At Midway, she spent much of her time developing cost and profitability measures for the company and its products. Prior to Midway Amusement Games, Ms. Viola spent three years as a management consultant. During that time, she worked on a variety of financial related issues for her clients, including transfer pricing, economic valuation, intellectual property litigation, market entry strategy and activity based costing.
